Professional Development
In collaboration with our partners, we offer trainings, certifications, and workshops to enhance the skills of orthopedic technologists, prosthetists, and orthotists across Kenya. We also participate fully in the development of orthopedic technology, prosthetics, orthotics, and other rehab-related curricula to ensure that all professionals in this spectrum have top skills and knowledge for the Kenyan and regional population.
Advocacy & Representation
Championing policies and standards to improve the provision of prosthetic and orthotic services across the region. We also advocate for opportunities, represent, and support our professionals in the healthcare sector. Of course, the association also advocates for the interests of those who need our services; from championing for the accessibility, availability, and affordability of services across the country to ensuring that you receive high-quality services.
Membership & Networking
Connecting technologists for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and career growth within a vibrant community. We often do this by making visits to various stations countrywide where we share experiences and mentor staff or engage stakeholders on the need to have professionals employed and make these vital services available to the public. We also organize meetings, conferences and forums where our members can meet and network.

Lower & Upper Limb Prosthetics
We are qualified to assess, prescribe, design, and fit prosthetic devices to restore mobility and independence. This service is ideal for those missing limbs or any other body part.
Lower & Upper Limb Orthotics
Providing braces and supports to improve function and reduce pain. This process begins with assessment, diagnosis, prescription to fitting and training on how to use the AT device.
Podiatry/Foot Care
Specialized care for foot and ankle conditions to enhance patient mobility or hasten treatment. We can achieve this using casts, custom orthoses(insoles), counseling, and referrals.
Spinal Injuries Bracing
Whether it is a deformity or a new injury, you can trust our members to provide you with the best custom spinal orthoses that guarantee functionality, comfort, and durability.

Our members have the best management formula for ulcers/wounds resulting from illnesses like diabetes and leprosy. Notably, management depends on the condition and may include special footwear to promote healing and prevent further damage.
